The Ridgeline Composite Mountain Bike Team is an east-Tampa based mountain bike team comprised of youth grades 6 – 12.  As a subset of the Composite Team, youth that attend Newsome High School will race for points separate from the Composite team during competitions.  The team participates in the Florida Interscholastic Cycling League (FICL) which is a project league of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).  The team pre-season begins October 15 each year and then the official season begins December 1 and lasts until May 30.  The team is inclusive – everyone is welcome and everyone trains and competes.
